Once, you were in a league of your own, untainted by fear; you soared on the wings of eagles and made your home with the wolves. You were mastered by nothing, yet, your heart was pure. Adventure was your oxygen, it kept your soul alive and heart, beating. Now you have been driven into the caves, afraid of the very ones you love. You've settled for the lies and mediocrity has become your abode.

Behind all those lies, exists the real you, the vulnerable you. Your very essence covered beneath your smile and laughter, your pain hidden by your desire to be strong. Snuffed out by the world was your desire to love and now all you are is a shadow of the person you long to be. You're royalty yet you have subjected yourself to the life of a servant, ruled by your unwholesome desire to be seen, to be heard, to be loved. Mirroring the image of hollow beings set on high pedestals. All the things you love, you bartered for the popular.

You were a masterpiece, beautiful by all standards, designed by the hands of the very One who created the stars. You were breathed upon by the wind and in you burned the fire to set the world ablaze. Your birth was the answer to a thousand prayers, but you traded your heart for scraps, now all that is left is a collage with no meaning. Each day you drown in a sea of voices, losing yourself to the opinions of those who'll never care, fighting so hard for their affection. With every heartbreak, you rip off a piece of your soul and barricade yourself in walls of stone, concealing all you have to offer.

The perspective of others, you have let define your purpose. But soon, time will reveal who you are. You have a choice: to be live or lie.
